Safe Management Measures

--------------------------------------------------
Update on 14 May 2021
--------------------------------------------------
Important Notice

Dear Parents,

Hope that everyone had a good term break. Our lesson is scheduled to resume from the week of 19 May 2021, which as of the latest announcement, we are still able to do so except with a change in the grouping of students for some affected classes.

As you have received our letter dated 5th May, our Centre is fully committed to follow government's guidelines. With the newly announced guidelines, we will be re-grouping the affected classes to not more than 2 in a group with at least 1m distance between each group.

We seek the cooperation of all parents to work with us on these measures, and we ask that all parent/guardian to come alone with the child so that there will just be 2pax in transit at any time as well. We can all play a part in keeping the community safer.

In the unfortunate event that further restrictions are imposed that disallow the Enrichment Centre to operate, we may bring forward our term breaks earlier to cater for the period of the temporary suspension.

In addition, if you have not save our Centre's mobile (HFC- 91824381, CCK- 92489511) as one of your contacts, please kindly do so. Do note that you will not be able to receive our WhatsApp Broadcast messages if this number is not saved as one of your contacts.

Meanwhile do stay safe and we look forward to see you next week.

Best Regards,
Mrs Agnes Ng

Important Notice

Dear Parents,
With the recent announcement on the tightening measures, we would like to assure parents that we will be following closely to the MOE guidelines on the safe management measures required of an Enrichment Centre. We are committed to providing a safe environment for you and your child, and
would like to encourage all parents to work hand in hand with us on the safe management measures.

Centre’s Commitment:

1. Temperature taking and Trace Together safe-entry checks will be performed on all staff, visitors, students and parents prior to entry. Anyone with fever or is feeling unwell will not be allowed to enter the Centre.
2. Keep safe distancing between each group of children or pair of guardian and child in accordance to the guidelines for Enrichment Centres.
3. Overlay the carpet with waterproof foam mat in classroom for ease of cleaning after each class
4. An air purifier will be placed in each classroom, which has the HEPA Filter that can remove up to 99.97% of airborne allergens and germs, some bacteria and viruses
5. No intermingling between each group of children.
6. Ensure high level of environmental hygiene by carrying out cleaning, disinfecting and housekeeping in between classes

Parents’ Role

1. Leave of Absence/ Stay Home Notice requirements:

Children (or accompanying parent/guardian) on Quarantine Order (QO), Leave of Absence (LOA),
Approved Absence (AA) and Stay Home Notice (SHN) are not allowed to attend lesson.

2. Minimise entry into Centre Premise

We strongly encourage parents to make fees payment via online mode such as Bank Transfer, PayNow, AXS mobile. For any enquiries, parents may also contact us on via our email enquiry@hegurumethod.com.sg or contact number (HFC-64666580/ 91824381, CCK- 69660587/ 92489511) where our staff can attend to you remotely.

We will open the door 10-15mins before lesson starts to facilitate the smooth transition. Do come earlier for lesson in case of queues into the mall / Centre.

3. Trace Together: Contact tracing for all who enter the premise

All Centres are required to use the Trace Together, to collect entry information to facilitate contact tracing. Do install the Trace Together app or have on hand the Trace Together Token to facilitate the process of admittance into the Centre. Children below the age of 7 years, who is accompanied by an adult, do not need to do a separate check-in.

4. Prams, strollers and personal belongings

Kindly avoid bringing prams and strollers, or big bags during this period as we set aside the necessary space to allow for social distancing within Centre and during queuing into the Centre.

To minimise the sharing of materials, we encourage all children to bring their own set of colouring crayons/colour pencils and puzzles where possible. Otherwise, the Centre will still provide them in class for the Infant & Toddler age group and will do the necessary disinfecting between lessons.

5. Wearing of masks or face shields

All children (and/or accompanying parent/guardian) aged 2 years and above are required to wear masks in the Centre. If your child has difficulty wearing a mask, you may use a face shield as an alternative. For the well-being of your child, children below 2 years old are also strongly encouraged to put on a face shield if possible.

6. Monitor your child’s (and/or accompanying parent/guardian) health daily

Please do not come to the centre if he/she has
- a fever
- a cough
- a sore throat
- a runny nose
- shortness of breath
- a loss of sense of smell
- or unwell in any way

We recommend that he/ she seek medical attention promptly if any symptom above occurs.

7. Pick up and drop off children for independent classes (Preschool and Primary)

Parents and guardians are encouraged to stand at least 1 m apart from one another during class dismissal and arrival and avoid mingling and engaging in long conversations with one another outside the Centre.

Please bring the children to the toilet first prior to entry so that we can minimise movement within the Centre after class starts. In addition, they will not miss any part of the lesson whilst away.

Parents lecture will be pre-recorded with the link to be sent to you after the lesson. To minimise entry into the Centre, please feel free to email us at enquiry@hegurumethod.com.sg should you need a call-back from the teacher to discuss on your child’s progress.

Please queue up in an orderly manner to drop off and pick up your child(ren) at the side door (not the main door). Kindly be patient as we dismiss the children in small numbers to avoid unnecessary overcrowding at the entrance.

Thank you.

Best Regards,
