Safe Management Measures
Dear Parents,
A warm welcome to all our students in the New Year 2021!
As we begin our new year, we would like to seek the continual support and cooperation of all parents in our Safe Management Measures to keep the environment safe for all children. Please read the details below carefully.
Centre’s Best Practices:
Parents’ Role
1. Leave of Absence/ Stay Home Notice requirements:
Children (or accompanying parent/guardian) on Home Quarantine Order (HQO), Leave of Absence (LOA), and Stay Home Notice (SHN) or Approved Absence (AA) by their schools are not allowed to attend lesson.
A warm welcome to all our students in the New Year 2021!
As we begin our new year, we would like to seek the continual support and cooperation of all parents in our Safe Management Measures to keep the environment safe for all children. Please read the details below carefully.
Centre’s Best Practices:
- Temperature taking and safe-entry health declaration checks (via SafeEntry QRCode scan, or TraceTogether Token/App) will be performed on all staff and visitors prior to entry. Anyone with fever or is displaying respiratory symptoms will not be allowed to enter the Centre.
- Keep safe distancing between each child or pair of parent/ guardian and child within each class.
- Overlay the carpet with waterproof foam mat in classroom for ease of cleaning after each class.
- An air purifier will be placed in each classroom, which has the HEPA Filter that can remove up to 99.97% of airborne allergens and germs, some bacteria and viruses.
- No close contact between teacher and children, and between children.
- Ensure high level of environmental hygiene by carrying out cleaning, disinfecting and housekeeping in between classes.
- As per the terms of enrolment, there will be no make-up class for any reason. This is especially important during this period to avoid inter-mingling.
2. Minimise entry into Centre Premise
We strongly encourage parents to make fees payment via online mode such as Bank Transfer, PayNow, AXS mobile. For any enquiries, parents may also contact us on via our email enquiry@hegurumethod.com.sg or contact number (HFC-64666580/ 91824381, CCK- 69660587/ 92489511) where our staff can attend to you remotely.
We will open the door 15mins before lesson starts to facilitate the smooth transition. Do come earlier for lesson in case of queues into the mall / Centre.
3. SafeEntry / TraceTogether : Contact tracing for all who enter the premise
All Centres are required to use the SafeEntry or TraceTogether app or token, to collect entry and exit information to facilitate contact tracing. Do install the SafeEntry or TraceTogether app or have on hand the TraceTogether token to facilitate the process of admittance into the Centre. For parent/guardian accompanying children below 7 years old, only the accompanying parent/guardian need to check in. Accompanying children below 7 years old do not need to check in.
By checking in to the SafeEntry / TraceTogether, the parent/guardian is declaring and agreeing to the terms of the SafeEntry / TraceTogether on behalf of himself/herself as well as for the accompanying child(ren) with him/her.
You will be expected to check out upon leaving the Centre as well.
Do also note that once the TraceTogether check-in is made mandatory to all public venues, the usual QRCode scanner for SafeEntry may no longer work and only the TraceTogether app or token will be accepted for entry into the Mall or the Centre.
4. Prams, strollers and personal belongings
Kindly avoid bringing prams and strollers, or big bags during this period as we set aside the necessary space to allow for social distancing within Centre and during queuing into the Centre.
To minimise the sharing of materials, we encourage all children to bring their own set of colouring crayons/colour pencils and puzzles where possible. Otherwise the Centre will still provide them in class for the Infant & Toddler age group and will do the necessary disinfecting between lessons. For Preschool and Primary classes, children are expected to bring their own set of materials, as there will be no extra set for loan during lessons.
5. Wearing of masks or face shields
All children (and/or accompanying parent/guardian) aged 2 years and above are required to wear masks in the Centre. If your child has difficulty wearing a mask, you may use a face shield as an alternative. For the well being of your child, children below 2 years old are also strongly encouraged to put on a face shield if possible.
6. Monitor your child’s (and/or accompanying parent/guardian) health daily
Please do not come to the centre if he/she has
- a fever
- a cough
- a sore throat
- a runny nose
- shortness of breath
- a loss of sense of smell
- or unwell in any way
We recommend that he/ she seek medical attention promptly if any symptom above occurs.
7. Pick up and drop off children for independent classes (Preschool and Primary)
Parents and guardians are encouraged to stand at least 1 m apart from one another during class dismissal and arrival and avoid mingling and engaging in long conversations with one another.
Please bring the children to the toilet first prior to entry so that we can minimise movement within the Centre after class starts. In addition, they will not miss any part of the lesson whilst away.
Parents lecture will be pre-recorded with the link to be sent to you after the lesson. To minimise entry into the Centre, please feel free to email us at enquiry@hegurumethod.com.sg should you need a callback from the teacher to discuss on your child’s progress.
To avoid overcrowding, kindly only have 1 parent/guardian to do the drop off or pick up of the child(ren) at the side door (not the main door) while the rest of the family members may wait at other areas away from the Centre shopfront so as not to obstruct the flow of traffic. Please queue up in an orderly manner to drop off, and be patient as we dismiss the children in small numbers to avoid unnecessary overcrowding at the entrance.
Thank you.
